Simon joined Tripi Engineering Services in 2010, bringing with him decades of experience working in the field of building envelope engineering.
Simon is a licensed professional engineer with more than 35 years of experience. His diverse background includes building envelope inspection, investigation, and design. He has extensive experience in building stone masonry technology, construction project management, difficult / special access projects, remote monitoring and building information systems, and analysis of structural failures including litigation support. He has authored numerous papers and journal articles on building envelope failures and investigation techniques, and has served as Task Group Chairman on ASTM Committee E06.55 – Standard Practice for Industrial Rope Access, a facade access technique which can offer significantly lower costs than conventional access methods.
At TES, Simon oversees building envelope investigation and remedial design projects in the eastern United States.
